Founder's Message

The mobile First website universe is an exciting one for everyone.  Up until this point, most websites have been made originally for desktops, sized for the laptop and as an afterthought made responsive to mobile phones, not always with a great deal of success.  In the past few years, a new way of building websites has evolved, designing websites for the mobile phone first - Mobile First - then upscaling the display output to tablet, laptop and desktop monitors. 

Creating Mobile First websites has changed the game entirely, from how we develop a site , how it is loaded and even how they can be used.  The standard business website is still stuck in the traditional model of full sized monitors to display the latest standards of design.  With all that space to fill, and make it engaging, no wonder the business of building websites is so extensive - AND expensive.  The normal website is a complex beast that requires multiple operators and a high budget. No chance for the little guy to compete.

The ordinary person, the solopreneur with more time than money in their budget, and the small local business has been left behind since almost the beginning. Big business and agencies have dominated the website space since they decided to ignore the pleas of the original developers of the Internet and HTML to provide free information resources to the internet community.  Instead they made the internet almost exclusively a "pay for play" system where owning and operating a website was prohibitively expensive for any webmaster to own without having very deep pockets.
